most annoying songs

I think the topic is pretty self-explanitory. I was looking at a topic earlier that was asking for the most romantic song I have ever heard, and while going through the top 100 billboards and such, I found many songs that I thought were incredibly annoying. So, inspired, I posted this topic. Let's start out with.

Clumsy, by Fergie

Post 2 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 5:20:59

anything by the crazy frog

mister blobby

the hampster dance

cotton eyed jo

anything that keeps repeating itself every second

Post 3 by cumbiambera2005 (i just keep on posting!) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 5:31:08

Omg I actually like that Furgy song!
Try Salja Boy! Lol! Appoligize by Tembaland I think...
Sexy Back by Justin Temberlake! Omg! Cant stand that song! Also that Brittney Spears song You Want A Piece Of Me I think. Cry me A River by Justin Temberlake too! Ug!
Wait are we talking just about annoying songs or just songs you absolutely hate! Lol!
Hate List:
Amazed: Lonestar
She's All I Ever Had: Ricky Martin
Hold My Hand: Hooty And The Blowfish
And anything else by him/them is pretty annoying anyway! Lol!
I will think of some more eventually! I'm sure there are tons, lol!

Post 4 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 9:57:34

i hate womanizer by britney spears... really anoying!

i am the music man, Y M C A and superman are bad too

Post 5 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 11:31:18

Basically any rap, pop, or RNB song that is out today. Yeah, think that covers it. O, and any screamo song that the singers scream is son incomprehensible that you can not understand it. Come on, I like a good screamo song, but if you can't understand what they are saying, and the instruments don't even sound good, no thanks. Maybe I'm not a true metalhead, but ah well.

Post 6 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 13:02:21

I hate any of britney spears music.

You're Beautiful by James Blunt
Ewww, I hate Sexy Back!
Love Lock Down, by Kanye West.
Anything by the Backstreet Boys

Post 7 by andrew1989 (Account disabled) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 13:38:40

For any of you who hate all music written by Britney got Speared, get ready for this, it's going to shock you. She actually wrote what, in my opinion, is a decent song. Although maybe I shouldn't be talking about this here, but she did.

And yes, I absolutely despise womanizer, and pretty much all the rest. I always say, take a look at her initials, and it clearly says what her and 99% of the songs she writes are. Bull, Shit!

Ok, I've never heard Sexy Back I don't think, unless it's that really annoying one that causd me to shut off my radio as quickly as humanly possbl a couple of months ago. I probably have it on my top 100 for 2008.
The hamster dance did get rather annoying after a while, although I didn't really mind it the first time I heard it.

And as for annoyingly repetitive songs, definitely agree there. You're Beautiful got overplayed majorly. Let's see, which other songs do I hate.

Oh, here's one that got incredibly annoying after a while.
Hollaback girl by Gwen Stefani.

Used to not mind it, and then it got played one too many times... lol.

Post 8 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 13:44:21

lol i like holla back girl.

hmmm, other songs...
Lollipop by Little Wane got very over played.
I Kissed A Girl was good, and after a while it annoyed me.

Post 9 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 14:45:52

katy perry anoys me anyway.

andrew, which of britney spears songs is good?.

hmm, can i think of anything else

oh yeah, live your life by reanna, i just can't stand that, even though i saw the artist in concert

end of the road by boys too men`

Post 10 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 14:54:29

Most of the songs mentioned here. Now what to add to the list.
Rockstar by nickleback got anoying after 2 years of playing it.
That paper planes song, and that other i don't know the name of that sounds the same.
Anything by rihanna. She has 10 songs on the radio.
acon is also played too much. Every other song on the radio is by him.
There's this country song that gets played way too much I don't know the name of.
Katie Perry is anoying.
Basically most of top 40 radio because it consists mostly of rap and R And B.
A lot of stuff on the rock station here. They play half of what's out there that other stations play.

Post 11 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 14:54:57

Omg, i love anything by Boys To Men!
hmm, what about....
See You Again by Miley Cyrus

Post 12 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Sunday, 25-Jan-2009 19:18:00

Gwen Stephoni kick's ass!
Some songs that make me want to break things in eighths are:
I Kissed A Girl
Lolly Pop by Little Wane, Anything by Little Wane I hate his voice and music!
And also, Johnny Cash's version of Hurt by Nine Inch Nails annoys the hell out of me!
And... that's all I have for now.

Post 13 by andrew1989 (Account disabled) on Monday, 26-Jan-2009 10:55:02

The song I think is ok is called Everytime. And I actually used to like hollaback girl, but if you know how much it got played, or even heard it as much as I did when I used to listen to the radio more, it got incredibly irritating.

Rihanna has 10 songs? Let's see, unfaithful, take a bow, SOS, Pon de Replay, disturbia which is actually an ok song, don't stop the music, umbrella... which others? Lol.

Most of the above Rihanna songs were ok to start with and got irritating after a while. i still don't mind unfaithful though, and there's one called a million miles away that never played on the radio, that I actually like.

I kissed a girl used to be decent, then it got overplayed to hell, and so did Hot and Cold.

I love rockstar though, mainly because it never played over here and the only time I really heard it was on the cd, which I ended up buying when I didn't have a computer for two months.

Agreed with post 10, half the top 40 stuff these days is annoying. I wish they would go back to the kind of thing you heard in the late 90s, until about five years ago. There was some good stuff then. Going through the 2007 and 2008 top 100, I find very few things that I actually like. Even as recently as 2006 though, a lot of the songs are ones that I like.

Post 14 by SEPTEMBER-TWILIGHT (CAN I TALK? PLEASE?) on Monday, 26-Jan-2009 15:13:41

lol, don't listen to the radio then? lmfao. I used to listen to the radio so much and the songs that i like got so overplayed and i got sick of it. so i was just like, screw it and didnt listen to the radio anymore. it was just so annoying. so now, all the songs that i like, its not over played for me, so its all good. but omg daniel, the dance songs you listed like hamster dance and cotton eyed joe and YMCA and those other stuff, lol, i love those songs, so much fun. I like some britney spears songs. I think the most annoying song i've ever heard was that i know a song that gets on everybody's nerve, ahahhahahah.

Post 15 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Monday, 26-Jan-2009 15:33:08

Shut Up and Drive, Hate That I Love You, Rehab are some of the others they play. That's not including all the songs she did with other artists.

Post 16 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Monday, 26-Jan-2009 18:14:45

lol minh, i know a song that gets on everybodies nervs. lol

The song that never ends annoys me.

I agree, music is def not as good as it use to be though

Post 17 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Monday, 26-Jan-2009 20:41:59

I don't think today's music is better than music that was made in the past, and nor do I think vice versa. It all depends on what genres and/or artists a person listens to.
Three more songs that annoy the hell out of me are:
Unfaithful and Umbrella by Rihanna,
and, What I've Done by Lincoln Park. Those songs were too over-played!

Post 18 by andrew1989 (Account disabled) on Monday, 26-Jan-2009 21:13:06

Ok, the hamster dance is cool if not listened to over and over again as it was at my school dance. I swear, I don't know how they did it, but someone convinced the dj to play that song at least 10 times.

I almost forgot about shut up and drive. Lol, I think just plain shut up would be more accurate, directed towards the song writer.

Post 19 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Tuesday, 27-Jan-2009 18:32:57

that umbrella song. god...that got wayyyyy over played
fight by Pink is...well, starting to get on my nerves
I'm your's is catchy, yet anoying. hence my love/hate relationship with it.

Post 20 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Tuesday, 27-Jan-2009 18:42:13

You mean so what? It was anoying the first time I heard it.

Post 21 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Tuesday, 27-Jan-2009 19:32:18

I'm yours is ok, just getting over played.

So What was good, then the same happened.

Post 22 by cumbiambera2005 (i just keep on posting!) on Tuesday, 27-Jan-2009 20:38:49

Omg umbrella was definitely over played! I dont listen to the radio much either, because like others have said on here, a lot of today's music is so borring. I'd rather play stuff off my computer this way I can listen to whatever I want. And I love Akon! Lil Wayne is good too, but they do play him a lot! Shut up and drive is very annoying too! I agree on that! Also that rehab song is weird, and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera, when they used to play it, so got on my nerves! Also that Kelly Clarkson song Since You've Been Gone! Ug, really annoying too! Drops Of Jupiter by Train and She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5 are some other ones that really got overplayed back when they were out! And i have to admit, some Brittney is good if you're referring to her older stuff, when she first got popular. Now it sucks! Lol!

Post 23 by cumbiambera2005 (i just keep on posting!) on Tuesday, 27-Jan-2009 20:39:28

Oh! And who could not like boys 2 men! Omg whoever doesn't like them is crazy! Lol!

Post 24 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Tuesday, 27-Jan-2009 22:44:37

Little Wane and Acon can kiss my ass! They suck. They can take their synthesizers and shove them up their penises.
Kelly Clarkson is great! And so is Shut Up and Drive. You people listen to the radio too much.
But I must agree that She Will Be loved by Maroon 5 was waaaaaay over-played when it was so popular. I can't stand that song!

Post 25 by SunshineAndRain (I'm happily married, a mom of two and a fulltime college student.) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 0:28:53

Umbrella by Rhiana, Soulja Boy, A lot of Michael Jackson's stuff, that Rehab song by I think Amy Winehouse? I pretty much agree that a lot of music today is just plain irritating.

Post 26 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 3:17:26

Well, guess i'm crazy. I never liked boys 2 men.

Post 27 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 7:03:38

lmao, soulja boy got on my nerves. youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Post 28 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 7:04:23

oh yeah, and that laffy taffy song.

Post 29 by mysticrain (Art is born of the observation and investigation of nature.) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 8:49:51

ug most of soulja boy gets on my nerves. I did like rehab by amy winehouse, but it got sooooooooo over played.
I love Johnny Cash's version of hurt! lol! and I agree that sexy back is an absolutely horrible song!
Older song that I hate is Can't touch this.

Post 30 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 11:53:38

The lyrics of solja boy are absolutely shit, and if you look them up on urban dictionary, and think of how many young kids liked the song and had no idea what the lyrics menat *shudders*.

Post 31 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 18:37:46

Rap lyrics, (if you can even call them that), are stupid anyways. Read them if you want a good laugh.

Post 32 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 18:46:36

Soulja boy was good when he first came out, now he's just annoying.
Omg, Akon is amazing, you guys dont know what you're talking about!
I hate that new song by Katie Parry, its is called Thinking of You or something like that. Omg, that song annoys me..

Post 33 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Wednesday, 28-Jan-2009 22:24:03

push me, and then just touch me, till I can get my, satisfaction.
lmaoooo

Post 34 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Thursday, 29-Jan-2009 17:44:35

Omg ray, I hate that song! lol

Post 35 by SunshineAndRain (I'm happily married, a mom of two and a fulltime college student.) on Tuesday, 03-Feb-2009 23:27:35

When I was little, that song "Push it" by Salt and Pepper got on my nerves. Oh, and that Funky Colmadina I think it's by Tone Loke. Oh that, yeah, that got on my nerves too.

Post 36 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Wednesday, 04-Feb-2009 15:10:52

HAHAA LOVE THESE TOPICS. HERE ARE SONGS THAT ARE ANOYING TO ME. ANY SONG WITH AN ARTIST THAT USES A FUCKING VOCODER. THAT IS SOOOO ANOYING TO ME. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. I CAN'TSTAND ANYTHING ON THE RADIO. that is why i boycotted the radio. i barely listen to radio. i have music on my computer and i find new songs on things like myspace, last.fm and stuff like that. so a lot of the songs radio plays i don't know much about. and boys ii men is awesome and so is Michael Jackson. well that's it for now. and that linkin park song what i done rules as well :)! radio did not ruin that for me.

Post 37 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Wednesday, 04-Feb-2009 17:47:44

lol brandy, i def agree.
boys to men is the shit, so all you guys need to shut up! lol
michael jackson sucks

Post 38 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Thursday, 05-Feb-2009 12:46:39

James Blunt's song You're Beautiful annoys the shit out of me. Weird Al's parody of him is awesome. lol
Um ... let's see ...
Well, I stopped listening to the radio ages ago, so i'm not in the know when it comes to what sucks and what's cool. Britney Spears' music is a load of bulllshit. can't stand her!

Post 39 by andrew1989 (Account disabled) on Thursday, 05-Feb-2009 14:23:57

Vocoders can be cool if used in the right way, which, admittedly, they're usually not.

You're Beautiful was good at first, and then got very annoying, very quickly. And you're right, You're pitiful is funny as hell. i should put that up here or something. Well, I could always create another board for most hilarious song parodies...

Post 40 by Damia (I'm oppinionated deal with it.) on Thursday, 05-Feb-2009 15:08:05

Well I think I learned to dispize radio top 40 a bit before that song came out...
"Hay hay you you I don't like you're girl friend."

seriusly your singing in that song is anoying.

I have to say that amy winehouse over did herself in the rehab department, but her voice can only be compared with that of Macey Gray.

county grammer is just anoying.

as for other types of music... red neck woman? seriusly?

Is there really something great about "She thinks my tractor's sexy."

any death medel. I can growl too, but it doesn't mean I can sing.

any thing by Lacy J Dolton her voice grates on my nerves

Post 41 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Thursday, 05-Feb-2009 15:45:05

county grammar? you mean country grammar by nelly?

Post 42 by Damia (I'm oppinionated deal with it.) on Thursday, 05-Feb-2009 15:53:04

ur ya. sorry i have counties on the brain. I'm at work and everythign in these calls is by county.
speaking of that... how about most anoying kid songs...
Barney anything come to mind anyone?

Post 43 by cumbiambera2005 (i just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 07-Feb-2009 7:01:26

Well there's another board for that, so...anyway back to most annoying songs:
Ok, Country Grammar used to be the shit when I was younger, and now I just haven't listened to it in a while. The Funky Col Medina or however the heck you spell it that's a cool song but it got a little old when my mom played it over and over again. Michael Jackson is cool to listen to every once in a while! That humpty Dance one really gets on my nerves, moving back to the oldies category. There was another song mentioned that I would have to agree is quite annoying...cant think...oh well...cant touch this is a cool song! I cant think of another one...

Post 44 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Saturday, 07-Feb-2009 8:10:48

Soulja Boy and Nirvana get on my nerves! My brother and sister play soulja Boy like he is the greatest thing ever. And what's so stupid is that after he came up with a dance, the dumbest dances and names for them started pouring out people's assholes like diarrhea.
Also, my mother played out Nirvana when I was about three, four, or five. Annoying as hell!
And I like listening to the radio. There's much variety, and I like some of the morning shows. We get good stuff out here.
And, death metal drives me crazy! I can't handle it.
Vocoders are annoying! They shouldn't exist, damn it. If your voice doesn't sound good, then don't bother singing! The vocoder doesn't make it sound any better.

Post 45 by Emerald-Hourglass (Account disabled) on Saturday, 07-Feb-2009 10:20:29

buttons by the fucking pussy cat dalls
agree about the james blunt your beautiful
rite now it's single ladies by biance, omg slice my neck that song is annoying!

Post 46 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Saturday, 07-Feb-2009 17:41:37

ok, vocoders are cool if used *correctly* and not for helping people that can't sing for shit. if you can't sing then you should not try at all. and i absolutly hate solja boy or however you spell it. i don't care. what a hack. and i hate t-pain because he gives me pain in my ears. hahahahhahah. i hate to sound like a jerk but it's true.

Post 47 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Monday, 09-Feb-2009 13:43:25

Damn, Janelle, i hate the pussy cat dolls. they suck.

Post 48 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Tuesday, 10-Feb-2009 18:13:58

Post 49 by SunshineAndRain (I'm happily married, a mom of two and a fulltime college student.) on Tuesday, 10-Feb-2009 20:37:11

Never heard of "Single Ladies." I think I'll go see what everyone's talking about.

Post 50 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Tuesday, 10-Feb-2009 23:24:57

chopped and screwed is somewhat getting over played here.

Post 51 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Tuesday, 10-Feb-2009 23:26:49

Mrs. officer. omg. wee'e'ee'ee'ee'ee'e oo'oo'oo'oo wee'ee'ee'ee'ee'ee'e oo'oo'oo'oo'oo wee'ee'ee'ee'ee. roflmao. god that get's anoying

Post 52 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Tuesday, 24-Feb-2009 18:05:30

Omg ray, that song is so good.
I hate that song by Soulja boy, Kiss me through the phone? Omg that is so annoying!

Post 53 by sea star (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 27-Feb-2009 14:51:19

most annoying songs. here goes.

paperplanes, MIA.
hollaback girl, gwen stafani.
I kissed a girl, katy perry.
burnin up, jonas brothers.
low, flo rida.
you're beautiful, james blunt.
had a bad day, daniel poder
when I grow up, the pussycat dolls.
anything by ja rule.
I'll think of some more eventually.

Post 54 by sea star (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 27-Feb-2009 14:57:12

I kind of like chopped and screwed in a weird way. I don't listen to the radio much.

Post 55 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Saturday, 28-Feb-2009 19:21:36

I'll agree with the jonus brothers. I just don't like the way they sing.

Post 56 by SunshineAndRain (I'm happily married, a mom of two and a fulltime college student.) on Saturday, 28-Feb-2009 20:30:50

I don't like any of those kiddie groups. They're just dumb and irritating.

Post 57 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Saturday, 28-Feb-2009 22:53:57

Karen, I must agree with you. Paper planes and Had A Bad Day are both extremely annoying!
But I do like When I Grow Up.

Post 58 by GoldenPhoenix (Zone BBS Addict) on Sunday, 01-Mar-2009 0:24:36

I hate the song "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry. Ugh, talk about annoying.

Post 59 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Tuesday, 03-Mar-2009 18:30:06

When I grow up is so fucking annoying.
Hmm, not much I really hate at the moment

Post 60 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Wednesday, 04-Mar-2009 15:46:59

I don't listen to the radio that much, but half the stuff I hear for the first time already anoys me.

Post 61 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Friday, 06-Mar-2009 13:22:41

so there's this really stupid song I just heard this morning for the first time, and I swear if I hear it again I will scream.
Its called "The Stanky Leg"

Post 62 by Irredensia (Generic Zoner) on Monday, 09-Mar-2009 13:30:55

What I have noticed about these overplayed songs is that when they are overplayed on the radio, I get sick of them faster than if I had listened to them over and over on my mp3 player. As for songs I hate: anything by the pussycat dolls. Ok, ladies, just because you look hot and got a book of rhyming words, that doesn't make you a good band. Pretty much all rap. All you have to do to make a rap song sell is get some kind of rhythm going and make up some words that rhyme. Anything by The Killers. I've never heard such horrible vocals in my life. It sounds like a pig having it's balls squeezed. It sounds like a dying cow trying to give birth to the biggest calf in history.

Post 63 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 0:22:13

Oh, my grapes! I like The Killers. They have really good lyrics.

Post 64 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 0:44:02

I looked up the stanky leg on itunes, and gave it to knux dude, the both of us were laughing at it it was that bad.

Post 65 by Irredensia (Generic Zoner) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 2:38:29

I will give the Killers props for musicianship, but what I hate are the vocals

Post 66 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 13:02:12

I hate the killers.
Omg, you actually looked that song up? just omg!

Post 67 by SunshineAndRain (I'm happily married, a mom of two and a fulltime college student.) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 20:27:34

I heard that song the other day and just about died laughing. Then, I turned it off because it got on my nerves very quickly. Most music these days annoys me.

Post 68 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 22:09:35

What a hideous title for a song! Thanks. I wont go near it with a 20 mile pole.

Post 69 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Wednesday, 11-Mar-2009 18:57:53

Lol np, i mean it makes me laugh, but seriously, the dances and songs they come up with now really scare me.
Day and Night by Kid Cutty is another one

Post 70 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Wednesday, 11-Mar-2009 23:28:12

Artists only come up with stupid songs and dances like this because they know it's easy money. Lots of people are easily entertained and amused, so artists don't have to use creativity at all in order to get money in their pockets.
There is so much music these days that has a point to it and is quite nice, it's just not played on the radio and exposed as much as the shit ass singers and rappers and their music.

Post 71 by Bedazzled (Generic Zoner) on Sunday, 03-May-2009 0:10:18

omg. i really dispise tough enough by the fabulous thunderbirds
in the summer time by mongo jerry. ugh
and that stupid song called I can ride my bike with no handle bars. omg talk about annoying
and put the lime in the coconut. just sooo annoying.

Post 72 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Sunday, 03-May-2009 11:09:58

I agree, most artists now really don't hae to work. GOt a keyboard? yes. great. Can ya rap. yes. Great. You've basically got a hit. Thank the internet for pandora.com!

Post 73 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Thursday, 07-May-2009 17:44:16

Put the Lime in the Kokonut is funny.
Omg I hate the handle bars song, I also hate that song Single Ladies by Beyonce.

Post 74 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 08-May-2009 10:30:38

I agree almost completely here. I quit listening to the radio years ago for this very reason. I like Johnny Cash's version of Hurt. I actually hated the Nine Inch Nails version, but then again I can't stand those guys anyway. On yeah, then there's that 'cuz I got High song. Talk about annoying. I was gonna clean my room, but then I got high. Then let's see. I'm too Sexy by RIght Said Fred (although I kinda like that one as long as I don't hear it often). But most music these days sucks anymore.

Because I got High is an amazing song..

Post 76 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 09-May-2009 20:33:46

I guess that depends on your definition of amazing. Unfortunately I heard that song far too many times while I was engaged to my x fiance. And the fact that I can't stand that type of music to begin with only adds to the annoyance factor.

i love this topic. i listen to xm radio so I like the songs but they never say who they are performed by. Now I can put artists to the ones I really hate. Womanizer by britany spears is the absolute worst song around. Poker face by lady goo goo gaa gaa or whatever her name is was great the first 70 times I heardit but am now totally sick of it. When I grow up is awful. Although they are wa-a-a-ay before most of you all's time, anything by the beegees makes me hurl. They are awful.

One song that really gets on my nerves and makes me just want to break all things breakable is "Feel Like Makin' Love" by Bad Company? I think? I had a bus driver and I guess he had that on a tape or listened to a station that was obsessed that song because I heard that song every morning and just hate it beyond all reason now. Some more current ones that I don't like t all are I Need You Now, Big Green Tractor, just about anything by Li'l Wayne because he sounds like he's putting his voice through a blender or some crap. LOL,. Oh the theme song to Family Guy. Checken Fried. Sugar by The Archies and I Want Candy. I Know You Want me, I Want You To want Me, Don't You Want Me? Dunno who sings any of those. Get This Party Started by Pink, and We Like To Party by something like Vengo Boys or something. Clementine. That kid's song Found a Peanut. You Can't Always Get What You Want. Fergalicious. Who Let The Dogs Out. We Are Family. Proud Mary. Hmm, tons more I can't think of right now. LOL, oh just about anything by Sugarland just because of that horrible nasally drawl thing. Ow

Post 94 by Queen Latina (Zone BBS is my Life) on Thursday, 11-Mar-2010 1:18:17

Okay... I didn't get most of that but...
Big Green Tractor... Lmfao! When I heard that song, it made me laugh so freaking hard! "We can go slow, or I can make it go faster" Roflmao! Just lol!

I also hate that I'ma Be song by The Black-eyed Peas.
And lmao to post 93! That's hilarious, but so so true as well. Lil' Wane's voice has got to be the worst, and synthesizing it doesn't make it sound any better.

I think most pop from nearly any leriod just grinds on the nerves, but the things people would recognize that irritate me:
Anything by Kesha
almost anything by Gwen Stefani
a lot of the more-often-played Pink music
anything by Katy Perry
almost anything that ever played on KGOT, that thing up here that calls itself a radio station...I nearly forgot that only one other user would know what that was...
anything by Mylie Cyrus. The exception is the climb, and someone else should have sang it.
That ridiculous goddamned "Single Ladies" song,
yeah there's more, I'm sure.

Lady Gaga is still the most annoying. ever. So is Kesha, who can't rap, and sounds like an exagerated cheerleader. Bedrock is a hideous song that shouldn't see the light of day. Let's see what else. justin Beber sounds like a 12 year old kid. The stuff he sings about just sound rong coming from him. Then there are songs I actually like. I only listen to the radio a few hours a week so I don't get tired of them.

I can't stand anything by the Jonas Brothers or Hanson. My younger sisters tortured me when we were growing up by playing the Hanson CD with 'Mmm-Bop' on it over and over! Justin Bieber and some Miley Cyrus songs are also really annoying. I think Lady Gaga and Pink are both very talented. 'Funky Cold Medina' and 'Wild Thing' are good in small doses. Lil Wayne has a lot of good songs and I think his gravelly voice sounds cool, but I agree that 'Lollipop' is EXTREMELY annoying! I also agree that Soulja Boy is absolutely atrocious! He can't rap or sing, and all of his songs are just stupid. Lil Jon is really irritating too. I can yell Yeaaayaah! too, but does that mean I should start calling myself a rapper and seek a record deal? I don't think so!! I could not agree more with the person who said country music is grating on ! ears and nerves. I hate all of it, and I especially despise everything by Big and Rich.

I usually hate Katy Perry but, scarily enough, I heard a Katy Perry song I liked. A lot of people are trying to combine this electronic/pop/rock sound and it DOES NOT WORK!!! I don't remember the name of the song but it's the first time I heard that electronic sound mixed well. Any other Katy Perry music should be banned under whatever law that says we supposedly don't torture people in this country. lol

I can't stand anything by britney, justin bieber, that freaking annoying song by will smiths daughter, hansen, katie perry, lil wayne, or most of the current rap or rnb for that matter. At the moment, it feels like top fourty pop has hit an all time low. Oddly enough, for a long time, i thought justin biebers last name was beaver. like the animal. beaver, b, e, a, v, e, r, which would have been sort of neat in a way. But Bieber, now that just sounds funny.

Post 123 by pyromaniac (Burning all of mankind to dust. ) on Thursday, 25-Nov-2010 0:06:02

Yes, I'd quite agree. Most singers nowadays are just fake, why hell. I do recall the black eyed peas to be at least five percent decent in early two thousands. And as for Berry Mantalo blah I know he has a pretty shitty attempt at being romantic. yes Iyana, it's waca flaca flame this loser who wrote a song about oh let's do it or something like that. As for Justin Beiber and willo Smith, gaa I know. Who ever comes up whith the idea for these kids groups needs to be slaughteed. Another thing regarding a previous post about country, all this poppish stuff has made it less southern. But look it's not all terible. I know of a new girl by the name of Sunny Swinni who has quite the pretty voice sounding like one of the girls from the Dixie chicks. In fact, it all depends like most things non main stream country is generally decent compared to radio shitt. But that's just my thoughts, for me it's older rapp rnb. And a tad bit of pop from the nineties that didn't majorly piss me off.

Post 124 by pyromaniac (Burning all of mankind to dust. ) on Thursday, 25-Nov-2010 0:08:10

hahaha, this one's not really annoying, but that song "It's been awhile" by Stained; my friends and I always liked to make fun of that song.

Um, let's see, anything by Lincoln Park, yuck!

I find most rap annoying, too, with very rare exceptions.

It's sad, some of the songs that are actually fairly good, but get way overplayed.

also, I'm sorry, but autotune is very, very overused. Even people who don't need it are using it.

Post 138 by CrazyCapricorn (I lost my conscience! Anyone seen it?) on Friday, 15-Apr-2011 22:53:06

Post 142 by The Sensible Millennial (I'll stop correcting you when you stop being wrong.) on Wednesday, 20-Apr-2011 17:17:19

Just where does one begin? Oh Gods, I've read through this whole thread, and have come up with countless songs that just grate on me. The audio abortions that these talentless grubs who dare call themselves artists have the audacity to release on the general public.
I'll get this out of the way first, since it's where I often meet most of my opposition.
Rap
is
garbage.
Yes, I said it. Without acception, from the first NWA song to the most recent Soulja Retard song. It's all bull shit, without acception, forever and ever amen. Oh but scott, some rap is... no. Shut up. Either you listen to crap or you don't. You don't listen to a little crap and claim to have refined taste, it doesn't work that way. And rap is not music. There is no singing in it, there are no instruments accompanying it. It is some dip shit talking to an electronic beat. Ask Eminem what key one of his songs is in sometime. Haha, Eminem knowing keys.
R&B is forgivable for the simple fact that there is some talent required. While I don't listen to R&B myself, I can respect that actual voice and talent goes into them. Ushar, Tirese, whoever else, they can actually sing. And I did say sing, I I'm not talking autotune. T-Pain is a millionaire, and he's never sung a fucking note. He's got the computer to polish his voice for him. Because god forbid he learn to do what he gets paid for.
That being said, some music with singing and instruments also makes me want to stab out the eyes of hamsters. Anything Emo, screamo, progremo, or anything that promotes male vocalists to whine like bitches with skinned knees about their emotions, while it is better than rap, is still the lowest of the low, the stuff I line my bat cage with. Green Day, they've taken a turn for the worst.

That's all for now. Thought I'd comment on this though. On the first page of posts, someone said the following.

There is no such thing as a good screamo song, unless you are a girl, or gay. Granted, I am more goth than metalhead, but I can tell you just as certainly as any metalhead, that screamo will get you laughed at in the metal community. Whoever said screamo was the cool metal scene, he was either lying, or misinformed.

Girly pop music is generally annoying.
But, am I the only one on here thinks all children's and similar platitude music is positively grotesque? I mean, if you were running a torture chamber and had your victims on the rack, that would be the perfect ambiance of torment to apply. I didn't even like it when I was a kid.
Then Barney was it for the kiddies when my daughter was a baby / toddler / whatever you call it crum crusher after that, and I'm just sayin' doing diag on a set of servers while blasted Barnie goes through your brain ... that's just sick.

It's called Bad Romance. I love that song. As much as I love music, I must say that hearing any song, good or bad, is sheer torture with a hair-splitting migraine.
Dance remixes of pop songs are usually annoying, especially the ones in which one tiny part of the original is looped over the beat dozens of times.

The class she'd enter in the fall they play pop music, oldies for a more relaxing environment, but the preschoolers...you'd have gone nuts, stuff like Alvin & the Chipmunk, Rick Dees & Disco Duck, very children themed music. And during the fall holidays? I'm just glad she's going into the class with the adult music. As for Barney, didn't Robin Williams base 'Death to Smoochy' on that character? I've got to see that movie.

Pretty much any of what's considered R&B music these days annoys me, particularly the crap where the people doctor up their voices with vocoders and AutoTUne because they apparently can't sing without them.

Every song by LMFAO is extremely annoying and stupid.

Pretty much every song you hear on the radio these days. Especially the ones where Autotune is used on every single damn sylable...whic pretty much covers most if not all of what they laughingly R&B these days.

Any R&B song where rap just has to be in it annoys me. Can we go back to the 90's? I actually like some rap but hate people that use the same freaking beat or lyrics to every song. Think about it, how many times do we hear solja boy in many songs? I also hate this new dancish pop crap thats out like the Britney Till The World Ends and Jennifer's Get On The Floor. I hate Kesha but her songs make me laugh because only she can get that toal valley cheerleader drunk girl voice.

Post 153 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Tuesday, 20-Dec-2011 21:10:19

OK, a few things.
Kesha is funny, and so is Nicky Minaj, especially that song where she talks about how she shitted on 'em. Can't remember the name but I laughed very hard the first time I heard that. Second, I totally agree about the auto tuning. It's so common that it can be downloaded as an ap on IPhones! Just another reason for me to hate the damn things I guess. Anyone who needs that crap to think they have talent needs to have their lips stapled shut until they realize that singing does not involve having your voice filtered through a program. Third, anyone who hates emo only hates it because they mistakenly believe that the only emo bands are Dashboard Confessional, Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic at the Disco. Not so! The emo scene, the true emo scene, was derived from the hardcore punk of the 80's. Certain bands decided to take their music in a more emotional than political direction, and emo was born. The founders of this movement despised the term, but it stuck and mutated over the years. Rites of Spring was probably the first emo band, followed closely by Embrace, which was fronted by Ian MacKaye, the former singer for Minor Threat. The reason you don't often hear about this aspect of the genre is that most early emo releases were pressed in small quantities on vinyl, and are out of print and extremely hard to find. But that's the beauty of the internet, you can find almost anything you want if you look hard enough. If anyone would like to check out real emo music, here's a list of bands to get you started, although I can't promise you'll be able to find all of it.
If you're into the hardcore style, I'd say go for Embrace, Rites of Spring, The Hated, and Indian Summer. If you're looking for softer, gentler style with no screaming, try bands like The Promise Ring, Texas is the Reason, Time Spent Driving, Mineral, older Jimmy Eat World (as in their first 2 albums or so), Maggat, and Rights Reserved. There are others, but that's a good enough starting point. Just thought I'd try to clear that up, because not many people are aware that emo wasn't always about slitting your wrists over a one night stand. Of course, the lyrics can be quite emotional, and are usually about failed relationships, but at least they don't sound like whiny bitches in the process.

Ugh. I can't stand Kesha precisely because of the AutoTune thing. Although I will grant that when she doesn't use it (a rare occurrence from what I've observed), she does have a decent voice.

has anyone heard the gummy bear song, or the chocolate song?
they are both really anoying, but they are the type of songs to get stuck in your head.

makes it even worse

Ugh, the Gummy Bear song is horrible.

So was the Barbie Girl song. Shudder...

Post 158 by LittleSneezer (The Zone-BBS is my prison, but I like it here.) on Friday, 23-Dec-2011 16:56:34

I've never heard either of those songs and hope I never do.

Post 159 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 23-Dec-2011 23:55:25

I'll say this much. At least the Barbie Girl song was fun to make fun of. But that's about all it was good for. In fact the Ken in that song sounded a lot like the O&M teacher I had at that time. Oh he didn't actually sound like that while talking normally but when he felt like doing gruff old man voices, which was quite often, he pretty much sounded like that Ken.

everything in the Billboard top 50 songs. OK, i like coldplay. Also, anything with the "verse - chorus - rap - verse - bridge - chorus" ... usually

def hate that I just did it on em song but is funny. Really don't like any pop out now. that song where someone whistles is annoying I think by maroon 5 and also that its 5 oclock in the morning conversation got boring.

Post 162 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 05-Jan-2012 22:25:37

I agree that pretty much all modern music is annoying, especially Hip-Hop and Cra---ahem--rap. It's all AutoTuned and uses the same annoying beat. Not that I ever really liked Rap except for that of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince back in the 80's.
